About Dayna
Dayna Lovelady is a Detroit, Michigan native currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee. She has been a keynote speaker and also ministered the gospel of Jesus Christ on the streets, in jails, churches, shelters, businesses, conferences, and other places that God has graciously allowed throughout the U.S. and globally. On a mission trip to Africa, Dayna ministered the gospel, taught, and prophesied in villages, churches, schools, orphanages, open-air revival crusades, and to street workers. Having lived experience of great hardships including addictions in the past, and also many successes, Dayna has learned that neither hardship nor success saves you, only a relationship with Jesus Christ saves. Her aim is to share this gospel message with others regardless of their hardship or success in life.
PRAYER
Dayna has a deep passion for prayer. In her calling as a prophetic intercessor, she frequently prays for others via her personal prayer line, on social media, and on various media outlets that she is invited to share on.
Dayna currently works full-time at the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) where she began as a Prayer Counselor on the international prayer line and has been promoted several times and currently serves as a Employee Engagement Manager.
WRITING
Dayna is also a writer for publications such as CBN.com and Nashville Christian Family Magazine. She previously wrote for the Christian Post and other publications, which have led her to earn several New York Times Achievement Awards and HBCU writing awards.
GOVERNMENT AND BOARD MEMBERSHIP
Dayna was appointed by the former mayor of Nashville, Karl Dean, as a Commissioner with the Metropolitan Nashville Homelessness Commission where she represented the homeless community for 6 years. She currently serves as an Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program Selection Committee member where she evaluates RFAs to select organizations to receive a portion of half a million dollars in federal grant funds for homeless services. Dayna has served as a board member for several organizations in the past, where she provided advisory input to help improve organizations.
EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP
Dayna graduated from Cass Technical High School in Detroit, MI, where she was an Advocational Music major playing the oboe, english horn, clarinet, bass clarinet, and the harp. She was awarded a music scholarship to Tennessee State University (TSU) in Nashville, Tennessee and also an academic scholarship to help her to go on to graduate with honors obtaining a Bachelor's of Business Administration and a Master's of Business Administration. While at TSU, Dayna played the clarinet in marching band and the oboe in concert band and woodwind ensemble. She currently plays the oboe in worship orchestra settings. In May 2020, she received a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Intercultural Studies from Regent University and studied abroad in Israel in the summer of 2019.

Dayna is a member of the Christian Women in Media Association and serves as the Social Media Director of the international organization. She is also a member of the National Religious Broadcasters.
